LittleBearProd Client, Al Satterwhite - PHOTOGRAPHER, AUTHOR, CURATOR

Al Satterwhite started shooting photographs while in high school in the early 1960s in Florida, when he first became interested in photography professionally. Still in highschool, he worked as a staff photographer for The St. Petersburg Times newspaper. He took on freelance work as a UPI (United Press International) contributor, in addition to working at the paper.


Satterwhite's talent enabled him to pursue a successful career as a freelance editorial photographer, taking him on assignment to numerous locations throughout the United States.  His work has been published in virtually every American magazine and for numerous corporate clients: Car & Driver Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Life Magazine, Newsweek Magazine,Time Magazine, People Magazine, Sports Illustrated, American Express, Coke, Kodak.


He currently lives in Los Angeles.
